He was an active member in the Franklin chapter of Lions Club International, holding numerous offices and receiving countless awards over many decades of service. Loyd was an active member of the community, and faithful servant of God, instilling his faith, beliefs, and values in his children and bringing many lives into the fold of God throughout his life. He will leave behind a legacy of family, service and Christianity that impacted all that knew him.
