Bradley was born on May 18, 1964 to Bobbie Jean (Holle) and Bill Swick. He attended Groesbeck schools, graduating in 1982. Bradley began working at the family business, Swick’s BBQ & Groesbeck Meat Company, at an early age, with his Dad and Uncle Floyd. He continued working there, eventually owning and running the business until last December. Bradley was a person who was known for always being willing to help others without hesitation or being asked. Bradley’s organs will live on in others through his organ donations. He married the love of his life, Susan Turgeon, in 1990. They spent the last 24 years together. The highlight of his life was his daughter, Kailey Ashton Swick. He spent countless hours at her activities from competitive cheerleading, to pitching/hitting lessons for softball, to coaching every league team she played on, and helping her with her show pigs. He spent many years on the board of the Groesbeck Softball League, and was instrumental in getting the new ball fields built. Bradley was preceded in death by his father, Bill Swick; his uncle, Floyd Swick; another uncle, Jimmy Holle; and a cousin, Chris Holle. He is survived by his wife, Susan; his daughter, Kailey; his mom and step-dad, Bobbie Jean and Rawls King; brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Lisa Swick; mother-in-law, Rita Turgeon; brother-in-law, Sean Turgeon; and nephews, Colton Swick and Tristan Turgeon; and step-sister, Kristi (King) Young. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and his second mom, Elizabeth Swick and adopted grandmother, Louise Willett, and special adopted kids, Kaci Kelley and Mikey Bielamowicz among others. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Groesbeck Education Foundation –“Bradley Swick”- where a scholarship in Bradley’s name will be established; or to the Groesbeck Softball League. The family requests your thoughts and prayers in the coming days.
