Juanita was born January 9, 1932 to Robert Owen Brown and Lillie Belle (Williamson) Brown at the family home in the Oletha community. She attended schools in Oletha, Box Church and later in Thornton. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide at the Teague Hospital before her marriage in 1952. Juanita was united in marriage with Roy Andrew Nolan on August 28, 1952. They had met on a blind date arranged by his brother, Leonard and his wife, and they had celebrated their 58th anniversary when Roy passed away in 2010. After their marriage, Juanita and Roy moved from Waco to northeast Texas, where their three children were born. They then lived in Mt. Pleasant, TX and then in Hobbs, NM for 23 years. During the last twenty-seven years, she and Roy lived in Bangs, Hamilton, Temple and Rosebud, TX. They were members of the Rosebud Church of Christ at the time of their deaths. Her children all remember her as a loving and giving Christian wife and mother, who was always willing to help and assist others. She and Roy took in two of her brothers at different times over the years, and some of the grandchildren lived with them at various times. Sheri, Dianne and Stan have always said that God has a special place in heaven reserved for their Mom and Dad to rest due to the kindness and hospitality that they shared so unselfishly with others. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roy in 2010; brother, Millard Brown and his wife Janey; brother, Wilson Brown; brother, C.W. Brown; brother, Edward Brown.
