Alfred Lenior Heaton

Alfred Lenior Heaton, age 73, passed away Monday, July 6, 2015. He was a beloved father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather. Alfred spent many a day fishing, hunting, going dancing and watching old western movies on T.V. But he mostly enjoyed being around others. Alfred is preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Ruby Heaton, and a sister Laverne. He is survived by his four children: Belinda Ard and husband Red; Alfred (Bubba) Heaton and wife, Laura; Tracey Wilhite and husband Jesse; and Jeffrey Heaton. He also has a total of nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Grandpa, as he was known, loved each and every one of them dearly. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at the Groesbeck Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, July 10, 2015 in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.
