Matilde Rodriquez Ybarra

Matilde Ybarra passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009, at the Windsor Healthcare Residence in Groesbeck, at age 82. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Friday, July 3, 2009, at the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Cobb Cemetery. The family will meet at the Groesbeck Funeral Home at 9:30 A.M. Sunday, for a family funeral procession to the cemetery. Matilde Rodriquez Ybarra was born March 14, 1927, to Vicente Rodriquez and Miguela Cortez in Rockdale, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lucio Ybarra Sr., and a son, Librado Ybarra. Mrs. Ybarra is survived by two sons, Lucio Ybarra, Jr. and wife Isaura from Groesbeck, TX, and Lionardo (Leo) Ybarra and wife Virginia of Groesbeck, TX; and one daughter, Luisa (Lou) Lopez of Groesbeck, TX. Mr. and Mrs. Lucio Ybarra were united in marriage December 11, 1941. Together, they were blessed with 4 children, 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
