Guillermo Estrada Luna

Guillermo Luna of Groesbeck passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017 at his home. Visitation and rosary will be held on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 from 6-9 PM at the Groesbeck Funeral Home with a Rosary being recited at 7 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11 AM in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Mexia with Rev. Justin Nguyen officiating. Burial will follow at Faulkenberry Cemetery. Guillermo was born June 25, 1929 in San Felipe, Guanajuato to Anastacio and Placida Luna. He moved to Groesbeck where he worked for Hobbs Bonded Fibers for 20 plus years until his retirement at age 60. He is preceded in death by both parents and two sons, Rosario Luna and Lupe Luna. Guillermo is survived by his wife, Antonia Luna; sons, Raul Luna of Groesbeck and Valentin Luna of Groesbeck and daughters, Ana Calvillo of Mexia and Juana Luna Barco of Mexico; 23 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
