Arthur Turrubiarte

Arthur Turrubiarte, of Lewisville, went to his eternal home with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2017, passing away in Plano at age 61. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 27, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 28, 2017, in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Joel Arroyo, Reverend Francisco Pineda, and Reverend Pedro Aquirre officiating. Burial will follow in Cobb Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Nathan Turrubiarte, Mario Turrubiarte,Ralph Turrubiarte, Roy Reyna, Jonathon Reyna, and Matthew Turrubiarte. Arthur was born August 25, 1956 to Alberto and Lucia (Cordova) Turrubiarte in Dallas. The family moved to Lewisville in 1970, and Arthur graduated from Lewisville High School in 1974. He had participated in speech, drama, choir and the debate team in school. All his life, he continued to love music,movies and reading. Arthur’s greatest enjoyment of life was spending time with the family. His son Nathan was very dear to Arthur. He also enjoyed all the nieces and nephews and they adored him, as he was the uncle to go to for fun. He will be missed by all the family. Arthur was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Robert Turrubiarte. He is survived by his son, Nathan Turrubiarte of Frisco; his parents, Alberto and Lucia Turrubiarte of Lewisville; sister and brother-in-law, Victoria and Roy Reyna of Lewisville; brother and sister-in-law, Mario and Almeda Turrubiarte of Lewisville; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Monica Turrubiarte of Carrollton; and sister, Terri Turrubiare of Lewisville. He also has many aunts and uncles, 14 nieces and nephews, and 7 great nieces and nephews, as well as many other extended family.
