Beatrice L. Archer

Beatrice L. Archer, of Dallas, passed away Friday, November 17, 2017, at age 93. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Old Union Cemetery, with Deacon Pat Hayes officiating. Pallbearers will be Tony Archer, John Sudduth, Jay Howard, and Thane Rounsefell. Beatrice was born May 10, 1924 in Mexia, to Homer and “Bernie” Lawless. Her husband, Milton Draper Archer preceeded her in death after a 48 year marriage. A loving mother, grandmother, aunt and friend, she touched the lives of many people. Her favorite pastime was cooking/baking. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. Mrs. Archer is survived by her son, Ron Archer and wife, Mary (Dallas); her daughter Belinda Rounsefell and husband, Thane (Mansfield); grandson, Tony Archer and wife, Stacy (Denton); granddaughter, Laura Howard and husband, Jay (Round Rock); brother, Bill Lawless (Nederland); great grandsons, Noah Archer (Denton) and Elliott Howard Round Rock). She was also preceeded in death by grandson, Darin.
