Addie Corrine Taylor Hahn Lynd, 70, passed away peacefully at her home in Groesbeck, on April 28, 2026, with her husband and family by her side.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 1, 2026, from 1:30 – 2:00 PM at Fort Parker Cemetery Pavilion prior to graveside services beginning at 2:00 PM with Rev. Tracy Sims officiating.

She was born on June 14, 1955, in Arkansas to Leon & Mattie Mae Taylor, where she was given the nickname Peaches before she was born and it would stick with her throughout her lifetime until her grandchildren named her “Gran”. She worked several office jobs ending up at Gifford-Hill, where she met many lifelong friends including her husband, Mark Lynd. She retired after 17 years, when they bought Brazos Valley Fire & Safety where she worked side by side with her husband Mark for the last 27 years.

She had lots of hobbies including going all out for holidays and parties; she loved tending to her plants and cheering on her Baylor Bears. She was sure to attend her daughter and grandkids’ sporting events, cheering them on, even through the cold, which was not her favorite weather. She dedicated countless hours to being the chauffeur and “team Gran” for many sporting events and was always one of the loudest in the crowd for anyone, and she always looked her best. She loved the beach, the sand, and the waves; that was her happy place that she shared with her friends and grandchildren regularly. She was always the life of the party and left an indelible mark on all who knew her and will remain in our hearts forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mattie Mae & Donald Hildebrand, father Leon Taylor, and sister Stephanie Laura Gallman. Mother and father-in-law Pete & Louise Lynd.

She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Mark Steven Lynd; daughter Trisha Ann Hahn Taylor; stepchildren Bridget (Manrique) Salamanca and Michael Lynd; grandchildren Laura (Scott) Smith, Jordan Chandler, Landon Lynd, Sawyer & Eli Salamanca; great-grandsons Haze, Dax and Crew Smith; sister Janice (Gary) Phillips; half-sisters Debra (Mark) Fatheree, and Lisa Taylor Leach ; brothers-in-law Mike Gallman, Jeff (Shana Camp) Lynd, Greg (Debbie) Lynd; and sister-in-law Laura (Steve) Martin, along with many nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Pallbearers will be Jordan Chandler, Scott Smith, Gary Phillips, Mike Gallman, Shane Kirk, Willy Johnson.

The family would like to give special thanks to the nurses and staff at AccentCare hospice. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to AccentCare Hospice: 314 South Dr. JB Riggs Dr. Groesbeck, Tx 76642.
