Annie Beth O’Neal, of Cleveland, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at age 88.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Fort Parker Memorial Park Cemetery, with Pastor Brandon Verm of Central Baptist Church of Thornton officiating.
Annie was born August 15, 1937, to James Fletcher Harmon, Sr. and Alene (Tilley) Harmon in Grapeland, TX. She grew up in Grapeland where she lived some of her childhood years and later moved to Houston. Annie Beth was united in marriage with Billy George O’Neal on May 2, 1958, in Houston.
They lived in Houston where they raised their three children Patty, B.G. and G.W.
She was a big sports fan including the Houston Texans, Rockets and of course the Astros... Altuve was her favorite. She loved playing cards with her sisters, coloring each other’s hair, and playing bingo. She enjoyed going to the casino with family. Annie especially loved her grand and great grandchildren and enjoyed supporting and attending their sports events and dance recitals. She loved to cook to whomever came by, especially the holidays.
Annie made many trips to Groesbeck with Billy George visiting all his sisters and brothers. Family reunions were always a great time.
Annie was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alene Harmon; her husband, Billy George O’Neal; son, B.G. O’Neal; sisters, Wanda Wright, Peggy Cliburn and Clara Berryman; and brother, Bennie Harmon.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia Ann and Joe Durham of Huffman and son and daughter-in-law, G.W. and Sue O’Neal of Cleveland. The grandchildren are Michael and wife Veronica Durham of Houston, Allison Durham of Huffman, Lindsey and husband Hugo De La Rosa of Kingwood, Carole and husband Christian Gardner of Cleveland, and Layne and Harley Connevey of Cleveland; brother-in-law Bert Berryman. The great grandchildren are Devin, Alexis, Dominic, Hadley Mae and Raiden James.
