Betty Doyce Brice

A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 3:00 p.m., in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Larry Ballou officiating.

Betty was born December 3, 1934, in San Antonio, TX. to Frank Ashton and Mary Virginia (McMillan) Ashton.  She retired from San Antonio ISD where she had worked in the cafeteria and had currently been living between Groesbeck and Mexia.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willie Cole Brice, Sr.; granddaughter, Betty Brice; son, David Brice; grandson, Paul Brice; and son, Tommy Brice.

She is survived by her daughter, Anita Boston of Mexia; son, Willie Brice of Greenbrier, TN; son, Frank Brice of Uvalde; son, Keith Brice of Coleman, AL; grandson, John Brice of Corpus Christi; two sisters, Mae Ashton of San Antonio and Barbra Ashton of Floresville; and numerous extended family and friends.
