Debra Janette Lawrence

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra (Jan) Lawrence, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, niece, cousin, and friend, who left this world peacefully on 6-6-2025 at the age of 66.

Jan was a woman of quiet strength, deep compassion, and dedicated her life to her family.

She had a love for watching her grandkids play sports, animals, watching football and bull riding, and antique shopping with aunts and cousins and especially fishing. She would often visit the cemetery to care for the family graves.

Jan is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Shaunna and Erik Buxton, son and daughter-in-law Cody and Haley Bass, her grandchildren Abby Lynch-Buxton, Lane and Brooks Buxton, and Layton and Presley Bass; brother and sister-in-law Gordon and Nancy Turner, sister and brother-in-law Judy and Lucian Williams and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, special aunts, favorite cousins, and dear friends who will carry her memory forward.

She was preceded in death by her parents William (Bill) Walker Turner and Wilma Fay Turner.

Though words feel inadequate in a moment like this, Jan will live in our hearts forever. Per Jan's wishes, she will be cremated and placed at White Rock Cemetery next to her grandparents Earl and Willie Willis.

A celebration of life will be conducted at a later date.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
