Funeral Service
Jeff Lockhart, a devoted husband, father, and papa, passed away on March 16, leaving behind a family who loved him deeply. He shared 37 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Stacy Lockhart, building a life centered on love, hard work, and family.
Jeff was a proud father to his two daughters and a loving papa to six grandchildren, who brought him immense joy and pride. He was a dedicated provider who spent 18 years working at U.S. Silica until its closure, and most recently worked for Luminant for the past five years.
Jeff was known for his strong work ethic and his good, honest character. He was a man people could always count on, someone who put his family first. You could always count on him to make you laugh.
In his free time, Jeff enjoyed heading to the casino whenever he had the chance, something he truly loved and he was known for dragging along just about any family member he could convince to go with him. He especially loved when his oldest grandson turned 18 and was finally able to join him, creating memories he treasured deeply. He was also a die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan and loved spending time with friends watching the games, faithfully cheering them on—even when he knew they might let him down—always holding onto the belief that “next season is ours.”
He and his wife Stacy shared a love for traveling, especially cruises, making countless memories together exploring new places. At home, Jeff made it a priority to be present for his family. He took great pride in making sure his swimming pool was always ready, creating a place where his grandchildren and their friends could gather, laugh, and make lasting memories.
Jeff also shared a special bond with his son-in-law, Paden, a relationship built on respect, time spent together, and a genuine connection that meant a great deal to them both.
A year ago, Jeff’s family nearly lost him, but through what can only be described as a miracle, he was given another year of life. His family is forever grateful for that precious time and extends heartfelt thanks to every person who played a part in that miracle, allowing them one more year filled with love, laughter, and memories.
Jeff will be remembered for his dedication to his family, his hardworking nature, and the love he gave so freely. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
