Joyce Clark left her earthly home to be with the Lord, when she passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at age 92.
Visitation will be Tuesday, April 14, 2026, from 10:00 – 12:00 Noon in the Groesbeck Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services will be held at 12:15 at Old Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Bobby Clark, Scott Clark, Ray Cronkright, Ryan Cronkright, Brenden Chandler, and Adam Koch.
Joyce was born October 28, 1933, to John and Ella Goehring in Westoff, TX and grew up in Yorktown. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Joyce received a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, and earned her way through life as a bookkeeper, while proudly raising three children. She enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family. When the family all got together, they always played cards. Joyce also enjoyed playing in the dirt, making a flower bed a first priority wherever she lived, and always raising the most gorgeous flowers at her home.
Later in life, Joyce was an amazing “Meme” to her grandchildren and “Great Meme” to her great grandchildren, all of whom she adored. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents and her sister and brother-in-law, Ellie Mae and William “Uncle Bill” Woytasczyk.
She is survived by her children, Dawn and Ray Cronkright of Red Oak, Bobby and Lynn Clark of Groesbeck, and Scott and Lisa Clark of Groesbeck. The grandchildren and their spouses are Crystal Ann (Clark) Koch and Adam Koch, Ryan Cronkright and Brittini Cronkright, Megan Cronkright, and Ashley (Clark) Chandler and Brenden Chandler; and the great grandchildren are Owen Koch, Mason Koch, Rylie Cronkright, Chloe Cronkright, Olivia Chandler, and Charlie Joyce Chandler. Also, her nieces and nephews are Willis, Tommy, Barbara, and Mark.
Now she is dancing with the angels.
