June Young

June Young, age 75, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.  Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at Groesbeck Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 1 PM on Friday, July 13, 2018 at San Jacinto Memorial Park (14659 East Freeway, Houston, TX  77015) with Pastor Marty Thompson officiating.  She was born March 23, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to parents Albert and Sally Dempsey.  She was a beloved mother to her 4 sons, Dennis, Victor, Wayne and Rodney Lee.  She retired from Bowen Oil Tools after 15 years of employment as a production clerk.  During her time at Bowen, she met her devoted husband of 27 years, Ray Young.  June was a kind and unique person, who had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh.  She enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends, cooking and fishing on Lake Limestone with her husband. June was preceded in death by her parents and son Wayne Lee.  She is survived by her husband Ray Young; sister, Sylvia Eckert; 3 sons, Dennis Lee, Victor Lee and Rodney Lee; two stepdaughters, Kelley Harvey and Kathy Tracy; grandchildren and great grandchildren.
