Luis Alberto Gomez

Luis Alberto Gomez was born on September 12, 1950 in his hometown of Ciudad Acuna, COAH, Mexico.  His early life consisted of mostly surviving on his own until approximately the age of ten, when he met his maternal grandmother, and she then raised him as her own.

Eventually, Luis made his way to the USA, where he worked mostly in construction and agriculture.   He married the love of his life on May 3, 1977 and they settled down in Central Texas and had three sons.

Luis accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior on May 5, 1982.  He led a simple life where the love for our Lord and the love for his family always took center stage until his passing on February 3, 2021.

His family will hold a Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at the Word of Life Family Worship Center in Groesbeck.
