She had to give up her job due to illness, while she was battling multiple myeloma for the past three years. She had been packing up and planning to move to Groesbeck to be with her mother and grandmother, when she suddenly had a fatal heart attack. She will be dearly missed by her mother and grandmother.
Margarita was preceded in death by her grandfather, Thomas A. “Little Pete” Cargile, Jr.; great uncle, L.G. Sledge; 2nd.cousin, Matt Sledge and his mother, Sue Ellen Harten.
She is survived by her mother, Cindy Cargile Pantoja of Groesbeck; her grandmother, Edna Slaughter of Groesbeck; and cousins Timothy and Carla Harten of Kerrville.
