Martha Jane Keller

Martha Jane Keller, age 87, of Kosse passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2018 at home.  Martha was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Keller and her daughter, Brenda McFarlin.Martha was born on September 19, 1930 in Fastril Logging Camp near Lufkin, Texas.  She went to Kilbourne High School in Kilbourne, Louisiana.  She was a hard working woman who wore many hats during her life.  From farming to seamstress to working in her daughter Brenda’s business.  She retired in 1999 and moved with her son Ronnie and his wife Michelle to Kosse, TX.  She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kosse where she met her late husband Tommie and was married on December 4, 2002 in Victoria, TX.  She recently had her “second retirement” from the Kosse Community Center in January of 2018.She is survived by her son Ronnie Hill and wife Michelle of Kosse, TX.  Grandsons Dallas Hill and wife Teresa of Harrison, AR, Gregory Hill and wife Amy of Clayton, NC. Justin Hill and wife Angel of Picayune, MS.  Kevin McFarlin and wife Nicki of Georgetown, TX. Granddaughters, Chelsi Seale and husband Chuck of Kosse, TX. And Tonya Anderson and husband Mark of Rockwall, TX.  Great grandchildren, Madison and Elias, Mackenzie and Mackayla, Cody, Maddy, and Finnleigh, Preston, and Reese and Taylor.Visitation for Martha Keller will  be Monday, 6-18-2018 at the Groesbeck Funeral Home from 6-8 pm. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 6-19-2018 at the First Baptist Church of Kosse at 10:00 am.  Burial will follow at the Kosse Cemetery.
