Shannon and Max Smith married on June 27, 2018.  They had good times spent on the river, and hunting arrowheads, which was one of her favorite activities.  When Shannon’s health began to fail, Max was by her side helping to care for her.

Shannon was a Baptist, saved and baptized at age 12 in Perryton, TX.

Shannon was preceded in death by her father, Kirby Lackey; and grandparents, Hughes and Louise Smith and Wesley and Agnes Lackey.
