Virginia Sue Defoor

Virginia Sue Defoor of Conroe passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Park Manor Nursing Home at the age of 80.   Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 26, 2108 at Kosse City Cemetery with her son-in-law, Mike Bergeron officiating.   Virginia was born May 3, 1938 to Newton Hays and Frankie Chambers Hays in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.   She grew up in Seagoville and lived most of her life in Conroe, TX.   Virginia was a housewife, and a beloved mother and grandmother, wonderful sister, and a good friend to many.   She was a Christian.   Virginia was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Lee Defoor; a daughter,  Karen Jones and a son, Jeff Defoor.   She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Ziegler of Willis and daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Mike Bergeron of Thornton; seven grandchildren:  Vincent Bergeron, Dewayne Defoor, Landon Defoor, Leah Jones, Bradley Jones, Summer Duplichan and Sarah Duplichan; and nine great grandchildren.    She is also survived by her siblings: Glenda Adams, Rosa Browning, Phillip Fisk, Rodger Fisk, Sammy Hays, Joan McCallister, Mickel Hays, Jamie Hays, Kathy Hays Clarke, Danny Hays, and Patty Hays Grice; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.
